Leave a Little (留声别等) is a private family voice archive for iPhone and iPad. Record a short story, keep it by person and theme, play it back, and export a backup — all stored on your own device.

How to record a story
- Open the app and tap Start a story.
- Enter a person (for example Grandma) and choose a suggested prompt or write your own.
- Tap Start recording and allow microphone access when iOS asks.
- Tap Stop and keep story. The recording is saved on your device and appears in your library.
- Tap the play control on a story to hear the original audio.
Where is my data stored?
Everything you record and type stays inside the app on your device. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no background upload.
Export and backup
Open Settings → Export story pack to save a JSON file that contains your notes and the original audio. Use Import story pack to restore it. Keep exported files somewhere safe — they are outside the app.
Delete a story
Swipe or use the delete control on a story, or open Settings → Clear local archive to delete everything. Deletion cannot be undone.
Language
The interface is available in English and Simplified Chinese. Switch it any time in Settings.
Microphone
Microphone access is requested only after you tap Record. If you deny access, no story is created. You can change it later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.
