Leave a Little (留声别等) is a private family voice archive. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does with your information.
SUMMARY
- The app has no account and no server.
- Your recordings, names, notes and dates stay on your device.
- We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any of your content.
- There is no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or AI service.
WHAT THE APP STORES When you use the app, it stores on your device: the name you type for a person, the theme you choose, the prompt, the date, the recording length, a small waveform for display, and the audio recording itself. This information is kept in the app's local storage on your iPhone or iPad. It is not uploaded anywhere.
MICROPHONE The app asks for microphone access only after you tap Record. The audio is used only to create the story you chose to save. If you deny access, or recording cannot start, no story is created. You can change microphone permission at any time in iOS Settings, Privacy and Security, Microphone.
EXPORT AND SHARING When you export a story pack, the app writes a JSON file that may contain names, notes, dates and the original audio. You choose where to save it through the iOS file picker. Once a file leaves the app it is under your control, and you are responsible for where you store or share it. The app never sends it anywhere by itself.
DELETION AND RETENTION You can delete a single story, or clear the whole archive in Settings. Deleted stories cannot be recovered. Uninstalling the app removes its local storage. Exported files must be deleted separately from wherever you saved them.
CHILDREN The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. All content is created and stored locally by the person using the device. If you record another person, please tell them and get their permission first.
THIRD PARTIES The app includes no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking or AI SDKs. It uses only Apple frameworks provided by iOS (for example for recording, playback, the web view that renders the interface, and the system file picker).
CHANGES If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
